AbbVie signs global license deal with Nxera Pharma for IBD drug candidate

AbbVie has entered an exclusive global license agreement with Nxera Pharma to develop and commercialize NXE0033744, a small-molecule EP4 receptor agonist for inflammatory bowel disease. Nxera receives a US$100 million upfront payment, up to US$1.37 billion in milestones, and tiered royalties.
