Alamo Group acquires UK truck maker Econ Engineering for ~$158.7M

Alamo Group has acquired Econ Engineering Group Limited, a UK manufacturer of roadway maintenance trucks and equipment, for £120 million (approximately $158.7 million), subject to customary closing adjustments. Econ, founded in 1969, reported net sales of approximately $88 million and adjusted EBITDA of approximately $38.5 million for fiscal 2026.
