Amgen's Imdelltra-durvalumab combo extends survival in small cell lung cancer trial

Amgen said its drug Imdelltra combined with durvalumab (Imfinzi) extended survival in first-line extensive-stage small cell lung cancer: median overall survival of 21.1 months versus 12.7 months with durvalumab alone, a 58% reduction in risk of death, nearly 80% of patients alive at one year versus 53%, and progression-free survival more than tripled. Safety was consistent with the known profiles of the individual medicines.
