Anthropic reportedly to spend up to $86B renting Nvidia chips, $31B on Microsoft cloud deal

The Wall Street Journal reports Anthropic is to spend up to $86 billion renting Nvidia chips and $31 billion on a Microsoft cloud deal, and is on the hook for around $450 billion in cloud computing agreements over the next seven to ten years, including a $111 billion Google Cloud deal, with the bulk noncancelable. Its latest S-1 draft signals it could spend $750 billion on compute. Unconfirmed.
