Apple unveiled its first touchscreen MacBook Pro at its Los Angeles event, reversing nearly two decades of opposition to touch-enabled Macs. The redesigned laptop features the PROLED XDR Display (tandem OLED), Dynamic Island, M5 Pro and M5 Max chips, and a lighter design. Preorders have opened, starting at $2,899 for the 14-inch and $3,339 for the 16-inch model, going on sale November 6.
