BlackX UEFI bootkit targets updated Windows systems, Kaspersky says it blocked attack

Kaspersky says it blocked the BlackX UEFI bootkit, which targeted updated Windows systems in Central Asian organisations to bypass Secure Boot. Kaspersky notes installing patches does not always complete mitigation, as some systems need additional measures to revoke certificates.
