CENTCOM forms Task Force Iron Gate to disrupt Iran's land-border and Caspian Sea shipments

U.S. Central Command has announced the formation of Task Force Iron Gate, a roughly 20-person team based in Tampa that will coordinate with U.S. government agencies to monitor and disrupt shipments of advanced weapons and sanctioned materials across Iran's land borders and the Caspian Sea. CENTCOM commander Adm. Brad Cooper ordered its creation.
