CRISPR Therapeutics updates on zugo-cel Phase 1 trial in refractory rheumatologic autoimmune diseases

CRISPR Therapeutics provided an update on its ongoing Phase 1 basket trial for zugocabtagene geleucel (zugo-cel), an investigational CRISPR/Cas9 gene-edited allogeneic CAR-T cell therapy targeting CD19. As of October 15, 2026, 21 patients have been dosed across cohorts for systemic lupus erythematosus, systemic sclerosis, and idiopathic inflammatory myopathy.
