DEA guidance: medical cannabis firms must source only from federally registered companies by late November

The DEA issued new guidance saying medical marijuana businesses seeking federal registration and protections must source cannabis only from other registered or applied-for companies by late November. It said it cannot grant registration to businesses in states with dual-use licenses allowing recreational marijuana, or states letting patients self-certify.
