Democrat Gina Hinojosa wins Texas governor's race, ousting Abbott in historic flip

Democrat Gina Hinojosa has won the Texas governor's race, ousting Republican incumbent Greg Abbott in a historic flip — the first Democrat to win the office since 1990. Abbott has conceded. With 59% reporting, Hinojosa led 55.9% to 42.8%. Hinojosa has called for a data-center moratorium, which could affect Texas's planned neocloud and miner buildout.
