Entain says UK Machine Gaming Duty rise to cost £25m, plans to mitigate by 2028

Entain says the increase in Machine Gaming Duty from 20% to 25%, effective April 2027, will add an estimated £25m annualised cost to its UK&I Retail business. It intends to fully mitigate the impact by end-2028 via estate rationalisation, optimisation and potential market share gains.
