FCA and HTX in settlement talks over UK crypto promotion charges

The UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and crypto exchange HTX are in settlement negotiations over charges that HTX illegally promoted crypto services in the UK, following an FCA lawsuit filed in October 2025. The case was the first of its kind regarding UK crypto marketing rules, with resolution expected by the end of August.
