Federal police indict Vorcaro, ex-BRB president and 13 others over R$17.5bn Master sale fraud, asks STF to extend inquiry

Brazil's federal police (PF) indicted banker Daniel Vorcaro, the former president of BRB and 13 others for fraud in the sale of R$17.5 billion of Banco Master and financial crimes in the injection of R$17 billion into Master, and asked the STF to extend the inquiry. The PF says the ex-BRB president kept negotiations with Ibaneis while committing the frauds with Vorcaro, and that the board ignored flaws in 90% of the portfolio.
