Federal police indict Vorcaro, ex-BRB president and 14 others over R$17.5bn Master sale fraud

Brazil's federal police (PF) indicted banker Daniel Vorcaro, the former BRB president and 14 others for fraud in the R$17.5 billion sale of Banco Master and financial crimes in the R$17 billion injection into Master, and asked the STF to extend the inquiry. The PF says the ex-BRB president pressed for Master portfolio purchases even after warnings.
