Gemini 4 Carbon scores 59 on Artificial Analysis Intelligence Index, ranking #1 ahead of Claude Opus 5.5 and GPT-6 Astra

Google has launched Gemini 4 Carbon, its newest AI model, two weeks after Gemini 4 Argon. On the Artificial Analysis Intelligence Index it scored 59, ranking #1 ahead of Claude Opus 5.5 (58) and OpenAI's GPT-6 Astra (57). Google says it is initially available only to its cybersecurity defense team, with general users and developers to wait.
