GM cancels rare-earth magnet supply deal; supplier Vacuumschmelze seeks arbitration, damages

General Motors cancelled a long-term supply deal for rare-earth magnets at a factory due to be acquired by Energy Fuels, according to SEC documents. Plant owner Vacuumschmelze has filed for arbitration and is seeking damages from GM.
