GMO confirms hacker posted customer personal details online after refusing to pay ransom

GMO confirmed that the suspected attacker published customer personal information after a noon Tokyo deadline passed on 27 October. GMO had refused to pay the hacker's ransom and had earlier urged users of its trading cloud to save their data.
