IEA cuts 2026 world oil demand forecast by 510,000 bpd to a 1.6 mb/d decline
The IEA's August report released today forecasts world oil demand will decline by 1.6 million barrels per day in 2026, 510,000 bpd more than the July estimate. The IEA also projects a 1.8 million barrel per day supply deficit in the oil market for Q3.
