Iran executes three men detained over January protests, judiciary says

Iran executed three men detained in Karaj, west of Tehran, over January protests once the Supreme Court confirmed their sentences, the judiciary said early Sunday. Hassan Divband, Hamid Kazemi and Reza Zanganeh were accused of carrying out operations for Israel and the United States, and had faced confiscation on top of the death penalty.
