Karman wins NASA JPL award for Mars mission parachute hardware

Karman has landed a NASA JPL award to design and develop the parachute deployment mortar for its SkyFall Mars mission hardware. The mortar slows the spacecraft during Mars entry before three helicopters are released to study the weather and search for signs of life.
