Lina Attalah released after paying 3m pound fine

Mada Masr Editor-in-Chief Lina Attalah was released on Tuesday evening after paying a 3 million Egyptian pound fine ordered by a Cairo court that convicted her of running a news outlet without a license. The court also ordered the closure of Mada Masr and the seizure of its property.
