Mashhad court sentences 20-year-old Abolfazl Sedaghat to death over January protests, sources say

Twenty-year-old Abolfazl Sedaghat has been sentenced to death by Branch 5 of Mashhad's Revolutionary Court, presided over by Judge Hossein Yazdankhah, two sources familiar with the case told Iran International. The sources said Sedaghat was denied access to a lawyer.
