Merck discontinues development of Sutro-partnered IL-2 agonist MK-1484

Merck & Co. has discontinued development of MK-1484, an IL-2 agonist candidate developed with Sutro Biopharma. The program, in clinical trials since 2022, was being evaluated as a monotherapy and with Keytruda for advanced or metastatic solid tumors. Merck no longer lists any IL-2 assets in its clinical pipeline.
