Merck, Moderna CEOs say cancer vaccine to be filed for FDA approval soon, approval expected in 2027

Merck CEO Rob Davis told CNBC the company expects to file its cancer vaccine for approval soon, saying 'We're working as fast as we can right now to get the file in' and that approval should come in 2027. Moderna CEO Stéphane Bancel told STAT the companies are racing to submit the vaccine for FDA approval, which he expects in 2027, and are preparing to test it in other cancers.
