Musk says SpaceX and Tesla formed special committees to discuss merger

SpaceX CEO Elon Musk says SpaceX and Tesla have formed special committees to explore a potential merger, a preliminary step toward what would rank as the largest corporate tie-up of all time. Musk, CEO of both companies, is excluded from the discussions as a conflicted party, saying there is "a lot of merit" to combining as they are "pretty much in the superintelligence singularity."
