Nakilat confirms LNG tanker Al Mayeda hit by unidentified objects in Arabian Gulf, fire onboard

Qatar Gas Transport Company (Nakilat) confirmed its LNG carrier Al Mayeda was hit by unidentified objects while transiting the Arabian Gulf, 40 nautical miles south of Lavan Island, Iran. The vessel was struck on its port side, causing a fire onboard.
