Norfolk Southern and Schneider announce strategic intermodal partnership

Norfolk Southern and Schneider announced a strategic intermodal partnership aimed at advancing domestic intermodal growth, under which Schneider will move its primary Eastern rail provider to Norfolk Southern. The agreement combines Schneider's intermodal expertise, professional drivers and asset-based services—including approximately 23,900 chassis and 26,800 containers—with Norfolk Southern's eastern U.S. network.
