Ravencoin network exploited via critical consensus bug, triggering chain split and exchange halts
Ravencoin's network was exploited via a critical consensus bug, with invalid blocks accepted by some nodes starting at height 4,487,776. Major mining pools 2Miners and RavenMiner control most hashrate and are building an alternative chain from that height; if it wins, roughly three days of transactions could be rolled back. Exchanges including Upbit and Bithumb have paused RVN deposits/withdrawals and designated RVN as a caution-listed asset.
