Sagimet doses first patient in Phase 3 AURORA trial of denifanstat for acne

Sagimet Biosciences has dosed the first patient in its AURORA Phase 3 clinical trial, a pivotal U.S. study evaluating denifanstat, an investigational once-daily oral treatment for moderate to severe acne in adults and adolescents aged 12 and older. The trial aims to enroll approximately 800 patients (about 450 adolescents), randomized to 50 mg or placebo for 12 weeks.
