Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Turkey hold talks with Iranian authorities in Tehran to avert renewed fighting

High-level delegations from Saudi Arabia, Pakistan and Turkey began talks with Iranian authorities in Tehran on Monday to try to avert renewed fighting between Iran and Israel and the United States, following increased Iran-backed Houthi attacks on Saudi Arabia and renewed warnings of military action between Tehran and Washington. Saudi Arabia said it was important to open channels for negotiations.
