SCYNEXIS reports Phase 1 results for SCY-247 and wins $214M BARDA contract

SCYNEXIS reported topline results from its Phase 1 trials of the intravenous formulation of SCY-247, a second-generation triterpenoid antifungal, showing doses of 50 mg or higher achieved target exposures in invasive candidiasis models. Concurrently, it was awarded a BARDA contract of up to about $214 million in non-dilutive funding to advance the drug.
