Seoul's northern-district apartment average price tops 1.2 billion won for first time

The average sale price of apartments in Seoul's northern districts (Gangbuk) topped 1.2 billion won for the first time, rising about 100 million won in seven months. Gangbuk is up 12.91% this year versus 9.27% for Gangnam, with Nowon-gu up 1.52% in a month as buyers shift to outer areas amid rising jeonse and monthly rents.
