Solid Biosciences gets EU orphan designation for Friedreich's ataxia therapy SGT-212

Solid Biosciences says the European Commission granted orphan designation to SGT-212 for the treatment of Friedreich's ataxia, following a positive opinion from the EMA's Committee for Orphan Medicinal Products. The company also said five patients have now been dosed in the Phase 1b FALCON trial.
