StoneX forecasts 2026/27 cocoa market deficit of 64,000 tonnes on El Niño

StoneX forecast the global cocoa market will shift to a 64,000 metric ton deficit for the 2026/27 season, reversing its prior 25,000 ton surplus estimate. It sees world cocoa production falling 9.6% to 4.74 million tons on El Niño-related output cuts in Indonesia, Ivory Coast and Ecuador.
