Tesla says Cybercab launches in Dallas next month, aims to get Cybercabs to customers by year-end

Ashok Elluswamy said on Tesla's Q3 2026 earnings call that Cybercab launches in Dallas next month, with the same software then scaling to many more cities alongside Model Y robotaxis. Tesla is trying to get Cybercabs to customers by the end of this year and expects around Q2 next year to turn on some customer cars to be part of the robotaxi fleet. Cybercab's AI was built mostly from data collected by Model Y, Model 3 and other vehicles.
