Turkey removes state support for electricity bills above 820 TL from Jan 2027

Turkey has made a new regulation on state support in electricity, removing government support for bills above 820 TL. From 1 January 2027, the annual consumption limit drops to 3,000 kWh, putting roughly 6.5 million residential subscribers paying an average 820 TL or more per month at risk.
