Two men charged with national security offences over RAF Fairford incident, appear in London court; police say Iran link
Two men, Mohmed Abdulkarim and Nouman Essghir, both 24 and from London, have been charged under Britain's National Security Act over a suspected plot at RAF Fairford, a US-operated air base in Gloucestershire. Abdulkarim is charged with assisting a foreign intelligence service; both appear in a London court today. Counter-terrorism police say they "believe" the incident was linked to Iran.
