UK gilt yields well above last Budget levels ahead of Wednesday's fiscal event

Gilts enter Wednesday's Budget well above where they stood at the last one. Since 26 Nov 2025, the 2-year yield has risen 118bp to 4.92%, the 10-year 95bp to 5.37% and the 30-year 55bp to 5.76%, with the 30-year briefly topping 6% on 8 Oct, its highest since 1998.
