UK September public sector net borrowing rises to £24.5bn, above estimates

UK public sector net borrowing (PSNB ex banking groups) came in at £24.5bn in September, above the £24.0bn estimate and up from a revised £17.3bn previously. Public sector net cash requirement (PSNCR) was £16.9bn, up from a revised £9.9bn.
