Ukraine steps up strikes on Russian ballistic-missile launchers before firing

Ukraine says it is increasingly trying to destroy Russian ballistic-missile launchers before they can fire, with Zelensky reporting Ukrainian forces struck an Iskander launcher near the border on August 22 and forced Russia to abandon a planned launch in a separate case. Zelensky also said thousands of deep strikes have reached Moscow, Tula, Ryazan, Olenya, Omsk and dozens more locations.
