UNHCR says more than 250,000 displaced in Yemen since August 1

The UN refugee agency (UNHCR) said more than 250,000 people have been displaced across Yemen between August 1 and October 17 amid escalating hostilities. Taiz accounted for 76% of departures and hosted 52% of the newly displaced, followed by Lahj, which hosted 23%.
