The flaw with this theory is that it presumes most companies raised their prices. Some did, for sure. But most just ate the costs, avoiding losing customers and anticipating that courts would piss on these tariffs from great heights, which they did. Trump and his advisors do not deserve the credit you’re giving them. They truly are idiots.

Yeah .... That's a bribe... Or basically fraud. The money is suppose to go to a whole list of businesses that were targeted by tariffs... My guess some one started a business just before the ruling because they knew the outcome ... And took extra money.
