In case you’re not paying attention: the USA is openly bombing civilian infrastructure. If this had been a specifically targeted attack purely on military bases to weaken the IRGC for the people to overthrow the government it could’ve been justified. But Trump isn’t even pretending to care anymore. He openly says he’s punishing “Iran” as he bombs bridges and water desalination plants.

They did not deny use of those bases. They denied use of the bases to directly attack Iran. They are heavily used for logistics. The US economy absolutely is dependent on others. The US position as reserve currency is critical for its survival. If the US starts attacking its allies, everyone is going to dump the USD because it obviously won't be safe. That would crash the US economy. The US cannot survive attacking it's allies.
