Volkswagen to software-limit all ID.4 to 80% charge over battery fire risk, NHTSA notice says

Volkswagen said in a NHTSA recall notice that it will software-limit all ID.4 vehicles to 80% charge due to battery fire risk unless owners opt out by October 21st. Volkswagen is still determining the root cause and developing a fix.
