WSJ reports AI-assisted discovery of PHP vulnerability that could risk 70% of world's websites

A security vulnerability in PHP, discovered with the help of OpenAI's GPT-5.6 Sol model, could put up to 70% of the world's websites at risk, according to the Wall Street Journal. Researcher Ryan Austin in California found the flaw while examining PHP's source code in August.
