30-year Treasury yield touches 5.612%, highest since 2002; 10-year at 5.24%

The 30-year Treasury yield rose to 5.612%, its highest since June 2002 and a sixth straight session of gains, while the 10-year reached 5.24%, its highest since 2007. The selloff followed a weak 7-year note auction and a Treasury buyback that again came in below its cap.
