30-year US Treasury yield tops 5.6%, highest since 2002

The 30-year US Treasury yield rose above 5.6% on Tuesday, its highest level since June 2002, extending a broad climb in long-dated US government bond yields. The 10-year yield briefly jumped to about 5.28%.
