ADP weekly data shows US private employers added 16,250 jobs per week through late August

ADP reported that U.S. private employers added an average 16,250 jobs per week through August 29, up from a prior 12K reading, marking a second straight week of accelerating hiring. The data beat expectations and was released ahead of the September 16 FOMC decision.
