AK Parti submits 9-article bill to Turkish parliament over fund crisis; up to 1m TL per investor to be paid, Hazine funds not to be used

AK Parti has submitted a temporary bill to the Turkish parliament (TBMM) to address the fund crisis, covering 455,758 individual investors across 131 liquidated funds. AK Parti Group Chair Abdullah Güler announced the 9-article proposal, under which up to 1 million TL per person will be paid. First payment dates have been set, and Vice President Cevdet Yilmaz said Hazine (Treasury) resources will not be used, according to Turkish news reports.
