Akamai authorizes Jabil to buy about $1.7B of memory components, holding inventory on consignment

Akamai says it authorized Jabil to procure roughly $1.7 billion of memory components under a contract manufacturing agreement, with Jabil holding the inventory on consignment and repurchasing it at cost as Akamai uses it. Akamai also signed a new Lenovo hardware, software and services agreement with a three-year master term.
